Yesterday we donated our remaining unused N95's to our local hospital. I really didn't think it would be enough to matter, but they were absolutely thrilled that we donated what we had and said even if it were 1 it would have made a difference. Right now they have no choice but to use 1 mask for at least 8 patients. So essentially 1 mask gets at least 8 hours of use. I encourage you to donate if you can. Chances are you or someone you know will need to be checked out by a physician during this time. Their supplies are extremely low and we need them safe on the frontlines. I hope you all are healthy and safe and hope to see you all soon at the next Mikey's Fest!

Cleaners and restorers I know are doing this more and more, and even one such mask can make all the difference if just one health care worker isn’t infected.

That one person might save a life if available instead of at home. And if sick at home, then what about the family of that ailing worker?

The “ripple effect” just goes on and on.

Thank you Nick

My wife has made close to 100 masks, as have many more.
my wife has been doing the same. Not hospital grade, medical staff won't use them, yet. Helps limit the spread if you have to go out to get groceries or tp. Best to stay at home though if you can.

I think my wife is going to try and make some by using cloth and cutting a piece of HEPA air filter from a furnace filter or shop vac filter and place in between the cloth.
There lots of patterns on line.
